Jessica Biel was born in the United States and is an American actor, model and a singer. Her modelling career began at an early age. The award of a scholarship during a convention prompted her to take acting lessons in Young Actor's Space. Her name was brought to the forefront as part of 7th Heaven of WB series by portraying the character of Mary Camden. The actress was extremely popular in her role. However, she felt that portraying Mary Camden in the negative image would hamper her abilities to act. For the Gear magazine cover Jessica was dressed in a bikini in an attempt to defy the stereotype. Jessica's appearance caused a lot of controversy among her fans. Jessica quit 7th Heaven at the end of its sixth season. Her performance was lauded as Casey Jackson, a teenage girl from Ulee's Gold that brought her the attention of everyone. Actually, the film was awarded her the Best Supporting Actress of the Year. Summer Catch, a comedy film that she appeared in shows her talent as an actor. The production Rules of Attraction did not have much success despite her outstanding performance. The horror film The Texas Chainshaw Massacre brought her into the spotlight of the public. She's an accomplished actor who has appeared in a variety of suspense movies.
