Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. Then, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final bout with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She maintained her dominance as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the opening round, she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and the Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. After a short break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
